Verizon Prepaid is Verizon's direct prepaid brand.
Verizon Prepaid offers data only plan for hotspots and routers. They also offer smartphone and tablet plans but they do not meet our criteria for mobile internet (at least 50GB mobile hotspot data) so we do not track them.
In late 2021, Verizon acquired prepaid brand Tracfone.
Plan Specifications
On September 29, 2021, Verizon changed their prepaid data-only plan option, which brought them in line with their postpaid data plans. A $30/month discount is applied when these data plans are added to another prepaid line of service, and used in an eligible device. Using it in another device can cause Verizon to remove the discount. The primary line (no discount) can be a prepaid smartphone or data-only line. The first price listed below is with the $30 discount, the second is for the first line or a standalone account. There are no autopay discounts.
