Changes Coming to Legacy Sprint Plans as Part of T-Mobile Integration
Sprint merged with T-Mobile in 2020, and customers who were on Sprint plans have been able to remain on their plans and continue to use the Sprint network while the networks and infrastructure are integrated – a multi-year process. But as part of that integration between Sprint and T-Mobile, customers on legacy Sprint accounts will begin to see some pricing and hotspot data changes to their account in early 2021.
Verizon Business Offers Arris LTE Router and Business Broadband Plans
Early in 2021 Verizon quietly began to offer the Arris NVG5588 LTE router for business customers. Currently, the Arris router is only available to business customers and it must be paired with one of Verizon’s LTE Business Internet Broadband plans.

KING Extend Pro & Extend Go Cellular Booster Kits Released – Based on weBoost Drive Reach
KING is a company specializing in technology for RVers and outdoor enthusiasts. While the company historically focused on over the air TV technology, KING entered into the mobile internet space in 2019. Most notably they released a prior cellular booster kit called the KING Extend that was based on a retired model of the weBoost Drive 4G-X and their King WiFiMax and Falcon Wi-Fi repeater.
Boom! Mobile Adds New Black (AT&T) 50-750GB/month Data Plans on the BOOMFi Hotspot Device
Boom! Mobile is an 3rd party reseller that offers cellular plans on the AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile networks. Recently they started offering some new data-only, annual plans on the AT&T network.

Visible, Verizon’s prepaid subsidiary, made some changes today to some of the features of their popular unlimited smartphone plan. The plan is $40/month for unlimited calling, txt and data. Making the plan particularly attractive to our audience, is it includes unlimited personal mobile hotspot use from the phone just capped at 5 Mbps speeds for use with one device at a time.
