Sharing your Connection
It can often be neighborly to share your connection with friends, and even strangers.
You can do this with a guest network. You can keep the guest network password protected - or open it up to the world.
Or there is a middle ground - a “Captive Portal” is a webpage attached to an open guest Wi-Fi network that forces people to agree to terms of service before granting access to the Internet - similar to how many campgrounds and coffee shops are set up.
Peplink routers have some built in captive portal features that let you set up a guest network that might help you meet your neighbors - and maybe even get a bottle of wine delivered to your doorstep.
This article goes over using this feature.
