Sharing your Peplink Connection with Captive Portal
It can often be neighborly to share your connection with friends, and even strangers - which is what the Captive Portal and Guest Network features on a Peplink router allow you to do.
A guest network allows you to create a password protected SSID, or one with out a password to share with everyone.
Or there is a middle ground - a Captive Portal is a webpage attached to an open guest Wi-Fi network that forces people to agree to terms of service before granting access to the Internet. This is similar to how many campgrounds and coffee shops are set up.
Peplink routers have some built in captive portal features that let you set up a guest network that might help you meet your RV or boat neighbors - and maybe even get a bottle of wine delivered to your doorstep.
