Overview: Cable Owned MVNOs – Spectrum, Xfinity, and Cox (Cellular Data Plans)

Spectrum Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, and Cox Mobile are all hybrid wireless services owned by cable companies Spectrum, Comcast, and Cox, respectively. 

They all offer smartphone plans to customers who are using their cable services, and therefore only offered in regional areas where the cable companies provide service.

All three operate on Verizon's network combined with their respective networks of hotspot locations. 

Their plans can be affordable for customers who utilize their cable services. We only cover plans that meet or threshold of a minium of 50 GB of hotspot data, and currently Xfinity is the only provider that offers a plan that meets this criteria. We do not track Spectrum and Cox plans as they do not meet our criteria.
