Straight Talk Wireless, a Verizon-owned MVNO, has made some changes to their smartphone plans, while keeping prices the same.
All Straight Talk plans, including their top-tier Platinum Unlimited plan, now have access to Verizon's ultra-fast 5G UWB network. Previously, plans were restricted to Verizon's 5G Nationwide network only.
Also, the Gold Unlimited Plan now comes with 50GB of mobile hotspot data, previously the plan came with only 30GB of hotspot data. Hotspot speeds for all plans are capped at 5 Mbps.
The Gold Unlimited plan also now includes 10GB of data to use in Canada and Mexico, which was already included with the Platinum Unlimited plan.
The pricing for these plans remains the same - $65 for Platinum Unlimited, and $55 for Gold Unlimited.
