Key Points:
- Verizon launched a new Business Internet On-the-Go plan for $45/month, offering 200GB of data at speeds up to 50 Mbps, then unlimited data at reduced speeds.
- After you use 200GB, speeds drop to 600 kbps for the rest of the month.
- The new plan is designed for mobile use, but requires the Inseego MiFi PRO M4335 hotspot. There is no BYOD option.
Verizon has introduced a new business internet plan called Business Internet On-the-Go, offering 200GB of data for $45/month, with download speeds capped at 50 Mbps.
The plan is specifically designed for portable use, including mobile businesses, temporary worksites, and service fleets.
This is potentially a decent option for nomads who qualify for a Verizon business account.

Verizon Business Internet On-the-Go Details
Verizon's new Business Internet On-the-Go plan costs $45/month, plus taxes, fees, and equipment costs.
- 200 GB of high-speed data per month, with download speeds capped at 50 Mbps.
- Unlimited data at speeds up to 600 Kbps after 200 GB.
- Access to Verizon's 4G LTE and 5G networks, including 5G Ultra Wideband.
- Deprioritized data.
- No domestic or international roaming.
- A compatible Verizon-provided hotspot is required, currently the Inseego M4 Pro (M4335) hotspot.
- Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) is not supported.
On the one hand, Verizon's 200 GB of high-speed data for $45/month is a good value, but the plan has several downsides.
Perhaps the biggest limitation is the lack of a BYOD option. While the Inseego M4 Pro is a capable mobile hotspot, many nomads would much prefer to use the plan in their own device, such as a cellular router.
Another potential downside is the 50 Mbps speed cap, although 50 Mbps is more than fast enough for most tasks apart from large, speedy file transfers. It will work fine for common tasks like video conferencing, web browsing, and video streaming.
Data is also deprioritized, which could slow speeds significantly in congested areas.
Mobile Use Confirmed
One particularly interesting aspect of Business Internet On-the-Go is that, despite Verizon categorizing it as a fixed wireless access service, it is intended for mobile use.
Traditional Verizon 5G and LTE Business Internet plans are generally restricted to a qualified service address and aren't designed for customers who travel frequently between locations.
Verizon specifically markets Business Internet On-the-Go for mobile businesses, temporary worksites, pop-up retail operations, and service fleets.
We reached out to PR representatives for clarification, and they confirmed to us that the plan supports mobile use.
However, the plan does not include domestic roaming, so coverage will be limited to Verizon's native network rather than partner networks.
Inseego MiFi PRO M4335 Required

Alongside the new plan, Inseego announced the MiFi PRO M4335, a new variant of its flagship MiFi PRO M4 mobile hotspot.
Unfortunately, the new plan does not support BYOD. Customers must purchase the Verizon-provided hotspot.
We previously covered the Verizon version of the MiFi PRO M4 in July, and the M4335 is the same hardware.
Inseego confirmed that the M4335 and the existing M4330 are the same hardware; the main difference is the Verizon plans each model supports.
The M4330 supports Verizon's Business Unlimited Plus and Pro mobile broadband plans, while the M4335 is the dedicated model for Business Internet On-the-Go.
The M4335 retains the familiar features of the MiFi PRO M4, including:
- Qualcomm X72 5G modem with mmWave support.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi 7 supporting up to 50 connected devices.
- Gigabit Ethernet and USB-C tethering.
- Two TS-9 external cellular antenna ports.
- Removable 5,050 mAh battery with eight-plus hours of advertised battery life.
- Support for continuous AC operation without the battery installed.
Verizon lists the M4335 for $299.99 at full retail price, with equipment financing and contract-based pricing options also available.
Concluding Thoughts
Verizon's new Business Internet On-the-Go plan is an interesting addition to its business data plan lineup, especially because it is designed for portable use and works while you're on the move.
At $45/month for 200GB of data, it provides a substantial data allowance at a relatively affordable price.
For comparison, Verizon's other main business data-only plans offer less high-speed data, but fewer tradeoffs:
- Business Unlimited Pro Data Device - $75/month for 100 GB of data
- Business Unlimited Plus Data Device - $45/month for 60 GB of data
These plans do not have deprioritized data or a speed cap, offer domestic roaming (albeit at only 2G speeds), 500 MB/Day high-speed Canada/Mexico data, and can be activated BYOD.
The On-The-Go plan offers much more data for a lower price and could be a good value for users who can work within the plan's limitations and are also eligible for a Verizon Business account.
