T-Mobile is one of the major cellular carriers in the US. In addition to their postpaid plans, they offer a line of prepaid plans. They also offer plans under the Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile brands. Metro by T-Mobile is a prepaid direct subsidiary.
T-Mobile's prepaid plans are designed for those who don't qualify for postpaid T-Mobile plans, want more flexibility, or don't need all the features of a postpaid plan.
Most of T-Mobile's prepaid options do not meet our criteria for "mobile internet," but the ones that do are detailed below.

T-Mobile prepaid currently offers a variety of smartphone-based unlimited plans, tiered plans, and data-only plans for hotspots, tablets, and wearables. Here are the ones we track:
