Starlink has alerted customers via email that it is adjusting pricing on the Global Priority and Local Priority plans to better reflect current market conditions. The pricing adjustments depend on the region and currency in which your Starlink account is based.
The good news for US-based users on a Local Priority plan is that the price is actually going down by $10/month.

Starlink is reducing the monthly terminal access charge for Local Priority to $30/month, down from $40/month. Data bucket pricing for Local Priority remains the same at $25 for a 50GB data bucket ($0.50/GB) or $125 for a 500GB data bucket ($0.25/GB).
For Global Priority users based in the US, your costs are not changing. The terminal access fee remains $150/month with a 50GB data bucket priced at $100 ($2/GB) and a 500GB data bucket priced at $500 ($1.00/GB).
Other regions are also seeing pricing changes, but in some areas, prices may be increasing instead.
The Global Priority plans are priced to be relatively consistent across global markets. The Local Priority plans, however, are generally priced based on the local market and currency and can vary significantly by region.
For US-based customers in congested areas, the Local Priority plan can provide the highest tier of service for a lower price than Roam Unlimited if you can stay under 500GB/month.
Key Mobile Internet Related Considerations:
- Local Priority plans for US-based customers will be $10/month cheaper due to a lower terminal access charge.
- Global Priority plans will continue to be the same price for US-based customers.
- Regions outside the US will have their own pricing adjustment based on their local market and currency.
- Local Priority now delivers higher priority at a lower price than Roam Unlimited for sub-500GB/month use.
