ToughSignal Launches ToughDisplay – A Dedicated Touchscreen Interface for Peplink Routers

MobileMustHave's enterprise division, ToughSignal, has introduced ToughDisplay - a compact 2.8" touchscreen for monitoring and controlling supported Peplink routers.

This small screen makes for an easy always-on dashboard for keeping track of your connectivity situation - and it can be easily mounted on your vehicle dashboard or on the outside of your tech cabinet.

The ToughDisplay is powered via USB, and connects to a compatible Peplink router over Wi-Fi.

Using the routers internal API - the ToughDisplay extracts status information and displays it - eliminating for many use cases the need to log into the full browser-based administration interface or cloud-based InControl2 dashboard.

For RVers, boaters, and others relying on Peplink routers for mobile internet - ToughDisplay is designed to make it easy to quickly check connection status, and to make changes as needed.

For users connecting to multiple internet sources — such as combining Starlink, cellular, and campground or marina Wi-Fi — having a dedicated display showing which connections are active and how they are performing can be especially useful. You can see which WAN source is active, whether failover has occurred, or how a SpeedFusion bonding is behaving.

While not intended to replace the full Peplink administration interface, ToughDisplay is a tool focused on simplifying common monitoring and day-to-day management tasks.

ToughDisplay Technical Details

ToughDisplay's screen is 2.8" across - large enough to read at a glance, but small enough to tuck out of the way.

The case measures approximately 90mm x 62mm x 16mm (about 3.5 x 2.4 x 0.6 inches) - and it is powered using a standard 5V USB-C connection.

The display supports multiple mounting orientations and cleaner rear cable routing using compatible 90-degree USB-C cables. An integrated rear metal plate also supports magnetic mounting options.
