Enabling SpeedFusion Connect on Peplink Devices
If you want to set up Peplink SpeedFusion Connect, these are the basic steps. The linked video and MobileMustHave Knowledge Base article provide more detailed instructions.
- Update the router to current firmware and back up the device configuration.
- Verify that each internet connection works properly on its own before enabling SpeedFusion.
- Open the SpeedFusion Connect settings and enable Client Mode.
- Select a SpeedFusion Connect cloud location or use the automatic location option.
- Configure which WAN connections will participate in the SpeedFusion tunnel.
- Choose which devices, Wi-Fi networks, or other traffic should be routed through SpeedFusion Connect.
- Keep a separate standard Wi-Fi network or non-SpeedFusion routing option available for streaming services and other websites that may not work properly through a VPN.
- Test both the bonded and non-bonded connections before relying on the setup.
- When you do not need SpeedFusion Connect, switch back to your standard Wi-Fi network to return to your normal load-balancing or failover configuration.
