Verizon Home Internet is a fixed-location 5G residential service. Potential customers must have a qualifying address to sign up.
- See our Fixed Residential Service entry for similar options from AT&T, T-Mobile, and others.
Verizon's Terms of Service are explicit that the service must only be used in an authorized device that is provided with the service. They further state that the service must only be used at a specific service address and that consent is required to move service or change devices.
However, we have seen reports of people successfully using Verizon Home Internet while mobile, as well as reports of enforcement of the fixed-location terms, so it isn't clear to what extent Verizon is enforcing this restriction. However, the terms are very clear, and Verizon could aggressively enforce them at any time.
Verizon Home Internet currently offers 5G plans at different speed tiers and no longer offers LTE plans. Plan availability depends on the qualifying address - not all plans are available at every address. Prices vary depending on whether the plan is bundled with a phone line or standalone and whether autopay is enabled.
Verizon also offers Home Internet plans through Straight Talk and Total by Verizon.

Routers can serve as a central conductor of your local area network in your RV and boat. Mobile routers are different from residential routers in that they typically support multiple internet sources like cellular and Wi-Fi, can be powered off of 12v or AC and support external antenna for better receiving signal.
But you might not need a router in your setup. Here's a quick video overview the variety that routers come in:
