Straight Talk is one of TracFone's brands partnered with Walmart to provide prepaid phone and hotspot service.
TracFone was acquired by Verizon Wireless in 2021, along with Straight Talk. While Straight Talk used to provide service on other carriers, as of July, 2022, plans are only available on the Verizon network.
Straight Talk's tablet plans do not meet our criteria for mobile internet (at least 50GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data), so we do not track them.
For hotspot plans, Straight Talk generally offers an entry-level 5G mobile hotspot device. We track entry-level hotspots in this Gear Center entry.
