Winegard has quietly and significantly reduced the price of its 5G router lineup on its webstore. Here is the old vs new pricing:
- Gateway 5G: From $999 to $499
- Basestation 5G: from $799 to $549
- ConnecT 5G: $899 to $649
One thing to note is that these prices have not yet fully migrated to third-party resellers like Amazon.
These routers all use the same core electronics, but the Gateway 5G utilizes an older X55 modem, while the ConnecT 5G and Basestation 5G use a more modern X62 modem.
Each router has a different use case in Winegard's lineup:
- The Gateway 5G router is specifically designed for the Winegard Air360+ system.
- The Basestation 5G is a typical indoor cellular router.
- The ConnecT 5G houses the router electronics in a rooftop dome with antennas, providing an all-in-one rooftop system.
If this price reduction appeals to you, consider which model best fits your needs. We have the full specs on each over at our Gear Center.
