Starlink has discounted the Starlink Standard dish price by 50% bringing the cost to $175 (normally $349). It is not known at this time how long this sale may continue for the hardware.
The discounted hardware price is for any new customer and can be activated on Residential or Roam plans, and does not require any minimum commitment. You can purchase the dish for the $175 price directly from Starlink or authorized retailers.
Along with the discounted hardware price, Starlink is also offering discounted rates on Residential Lite service plans where available and Residential plans in those same areas for new customers only.
- Residential Lite service is being offered for $65/month (normally $80) for 1 year.
- Residential service is being offered for $99/month (normally $120) for 1 year.
After the initial year, the pricing will revert to their then normal rates.
Note: The discounted Residential Plans are only being offered in locations where Residential Lite service is available - typically low demand areas. So if your area does not qualify for Residential Lite, then there will be no discount for Residential service either.
Residential Lite is deprioritized service similar to Roam. If you would prefer to have the higher priority of Standard Residential service, then those areas that qualify for the discount, you can choose the higher priced Residential plan.
In areas not eligible for Lite service the Residential service remains at $120. Plus in higher congestion area, an addition one time charge can be up to $1000.
For the discounted service plans, if you change your plan, cancel your service, or your service is suspended, you will lose the promotional pricing.
