Overview: Winnebago Connect (Connected Vehicle)

Winnebago Connect is a fully integrated cellular, WiFi, smart control, and RV automation system offering cellular connectivity options.

Winnebago Connect can control and monitor RV systems through a single platform. It will allow you to monitor power and climate systems, control lighting, and review maintenance reminders. It also offers optional cellular data packages.

Released in 2024, it is only available on some models, but Winnebago plans to roll it out to other models over the next few years.

Winnebago Connect offers three service tiers: Essentials, Premium, and Premium + Wi-Fi. Cellular data is only included with the Premium + Wi-Fi tier, which uses a managed connection across both AT&T and Verizon networks, switching based on signal conditions. Current documentation indicates the system is limited to 4G LTE connectivity, with no support for 5G.

Winnebago Connect uses an Ericsson Cradlepoint S700 as its integrated cellular router. The S700 is a 4G LTE modem designed for embedded and IoT-style applications, providing onboard connectivity for the system along with local networking within the RV. It serves as the primary connection point for the Connect platform and its cloud-based features.
