The Insider Internet Bundle is a complete mobile connectivity solution for those who are looking for a zero-install solution and don't want to put any holes in their RV. The Insider Internet Bundle is powered by Peplink's Max Transit PRO Primecare Edition, dual modem CAT-7 / CAT-12 mobile router and paired with a 4-in-1 antenna as well as direct wire DC power connection kit. The Peplink Max Transit PRO, has all of the features of the discontinued Peplink Transit DUO CAT-12 in our original Ultimate Road Warrior Bundle but now has an upgraded processor, faster throughput, WiFi 6 and support for newer cellular bands. AC adapters are also included, along with indoor cellular and WiFi antennas for portable use. The Transit Pro has one CAT-7 cellular modem and one CAT-12 cellular modem making it ideal for pairing with multiple cellular carriers. The CAT-7 modem is optimized for T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon, and the CAT-12 is optimized for AT&T & Verizon with additional band support for each.

If the internet is mission-critical for you, or you simply want the most reliable connection, traveling with multiple connections is key for any reliable setup. This bundle accomplishes that with dual carrier capabilities and includes licensing for SpeedFusion Cloud. This optional cloud-based bonding technology can seamlessly combine multiple cellular connections into a single, more resilient connection.

The Insider Internet Bundle includes a 4-in-1 external antenna which will greatly improve the cellular signal for better connectivity. The 4 cellular antennas allow the Peplink Transit Pro to utilize the latest LTE-Advanced Pro technology, including carrier aggregation and 2x2 MIMO communication technology for each modem. Support for Band 14 (FirstNET) and Band 71 is also supported (see below). Multiple antenna options are available and have slight differences in installation and specifications. Additional information on the Akita Lite can be found on its page here

The Peplink Transit Pro has 4x sim slots (2x per modem), allowing you to select which sim/carrier is in use by each of the modems. The signal from your cellular connection is then re-broadcasted wirelessly inside your RV or vehicle using the unit's built-in, high-powered 802.11ax, WIFI 6 technology. You get powerful 2ghz (long-range) and 5ghz (high speed) wireless connectivity and a wired ethernet port for your most demanding devices like VOIP phones or desktop computers/workstations. The device's WAN port can also be re-assigned as a LAN port for connecting additional local devices.

The Max Transit Pro has an integrated WiFi Controller capable of managing external Pepwave access points from the central management dashboard for seamless integration of external secondary access points for additional coverage or features/functionality.

Peplink's proprietary multi-WAN technology allows this modem to utilize the onboard cellular LTE modem, a public WiFi hotspot (WiFi-as-WAN), or a secondary wired internet connection (Starlink, cable modem, DSL, etc.) as the source for Internet connectivity - making it ideal as a central command center for reliable internet across multiple internet sources.

Two Embedded Cellular Modems

This mobile router is equipped with two embedded cellular modems. This will allow you to utilize two cellular connections at the same time, providing advanced traffic routing and load balancing capabilities as well as near-instant failover from one provider to another. Internet traffic can be routed in a variety of ways using Peplink's proprietary Outbound Policy Management Algorithms. Dual modem devices may be capable of utilizing SpeedFusion technology, also known as "WAN bonding", which may require separate licensing. See SpeedFusion section below.

Category 12 Modem

The mobile router is equipped with one or more category 12 LTE Advanced cellular modems with a maximum download speed of 600Mbps and a maximum upload speed of 150Mbps (typical speeds range from 10-75mbps depending on cellular network conditions and coverage). The category of the modem impacts the maximum upload and download speed of the device and what cellular bands or "channels" the device can connect to. Cellular bands act similarly to "channels" on television, each cellular provider broadcasts on specific bands. Category 12 modems support connecting to the primary bands of all major carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T and include additional LTE secondary bands for increased speed and coverage in many areas. This includes access to Band 14, AT&T's FirstNET band. For a complete list of bands supported, click the documentation tab for detailed specifications.

Category 12 modems are extremely popular as they blend strong performance and maximum data plan compatibility. Category 12 modems are very popular for mobile workers and for those who consider the internet "mission-critical" (dual modem device recommended). Category 12 modems are capable of video calling, VOIP, streaming,  general internet use, and, when paired with a dual modem capable device, support bonding of multiple cellular connections. See SpeedFusion section for more information.

Category 7 Modem

This mobile router is equipped with one or more category 7 LTE Advanced cellular modems with a maximum download speed of 300Mbps and a maximum upload speed of 150Mbps (typical speeds range from 10-75mbps depending on cellular network conditions and coverage). The category of the modem impacts the maximum upload and download speed of the device and what cellular bands or "channels" the device can connect to. Cellular bands act similarly to "channels" on television, each cellular provider broadcasts on specific bands. Category 7 modems support connecting to the primary bands of all major carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T and include additional LTE secondary bands for increased speed and coverage in many areas. This includes access to Band 14, AT&T's FirstNET band and Band 71 for TMobile's rural band. For a complete list of bands supported, click the documentation tab for detailed specifications.

Category 7 modems are extremely popular as they blend strong performance and maximum data plan compatibility and value. Category 7 modems are very popular for mobile workers and for those who consider the internet "mission-critical" as they come in many dual modem mobile routers capable of bonding. Category 7 modems are capable of video calling, VOIP, streaming,  general internet use, and, when paired with a dual modem capable device, support bonding of multiple cellular connections. See SpeedFusion section for more information.

Licensed for SpeedFusion

This device is licensed for SpeedFusion access. SpeedFusion is Peplink's proprietary WAN bonding solution that can bond multiple internet connections together into a single, more resilient connection for added connection reliability. SpeedFusion-capable devices create a VPN tunnel that allows multiple internet connections to act as a single connection. SpeedFusion supports WAN-Smoothing, a technology that helps to prevent packet loss which is typically the cause for unstable internet connections. In order to utilize SpeedFusion you must either host your own SpeedFusion instance at a secondary location/datacenter or use Peplink's SpeedFusion Cloud service which is available for an additional monthly subscription fee. This device includes data allotment for SpeedFusion cloud transfer at up to 100Mbps per second (amount of data will change based on the hardware). For more information on SpeedFusion and SpeedFusion Cloud, please reach out to us below.

Supports WiFi-as-WAN

This device supports WiFi-As-WAN, meaning you can pick up public WiFi signals from hotspots, campgrounds, and other sources to rebroadcast them into your coach and use them as your local internet. The wireless antennas included with this modem will pick up these signals and rebroadcast them locally within your own WiFi network.

*Using public WiFi may be unreliable due to external environmental forces typically outside of customer's control and as such public WiFi is recommended to be used as a secondary backup connection.

Get Connected with MMH Data Plans

MobileMustHave is proud to announce we now have high-speed, high GB data plans available exclusively to our customers. Traditional cellular plans available directly from the carriers have data caps that are not suitable for active travelers. We have negotiated the ability to provide high gigabyte cellular data plans that operate on the top national networks. Take the guesswork out of activating other plans that don't work or are not authorized to work on our cellular routers with data plans from MobileMustHave. Our plans are ready to activate when your ready to travel and have no contracts so keep as long as you need and cancel anytime.

FirstNet Ready

This device is FirstNet Ready! FirstNet is the nationwide public safety communications platform dedicated to America's first responders. Being built with AT&T, in public-private partnership with the FirstNet Authority, FirstNet utilizes Band-14, which is reserved for public safety but is also being marketed as available to the public for additional bandwidth capacity. In testing Band-14 has been made available during non-emergency situations to the public to provide additional bandwidth and coverages to customers who have a modem that supports FirstNet's Band-14. Not all modems that support Band-14 are "FirstNet Certified" however they typically can connect to Band-14 in most areas. Information on FirstNet certifications can be found on Specification sheets located on the Documentation Tab. Additional information about FirstNet's use and technology can be found in this article from our friends at the RV Mobile Internet Resource Center.

Band 71 Ready

This device supports Band 71. Band 71 is T-Mobile's rural cellular band that operates on 600mhz which provides significant increases in coverage on the T-Mobile network for customers traveling outside of urban areas. 5G ready devices that support Band 71 typically also support Band 71n which is the 5G band for T-Mobile. Note that not all devices are 5G devices so check the listing above but with or without 5G you will still achieve increased coverage on the T-Mobile network with any device that supports Band 71. For more information about Band 71, check out the Band 71 Guide from our friends at the Mobile Internet Resource Center

Manage Devices Remotely with InControl2

InControl2 is Peplink's cloud-based endpoint management system. When connected to your devices, it aggregates data to generate useful reports on all aspects of your network. On a single screen, you can push configurations to any and all of your endpoints. If you need to dig deeper, you can remotely access the web admin of any device on your network.

For most MobileMustHave customers this features is not required, but it does allow your device to be accessible to you via the cloud.  This can be an advantage if you would like to remotely control your device, track your vehicles location (if GPS is enabled), and allow support access to remote in (when permission is granted).

InControl2 is included with all router purchases for 1-Year and is included with EssentialCare and PrimeCare Warranty Renewal Options.

    A title

Took a minute to get it setup, but that was 'pilot error' rather than equipment failure.

    DC Power

I much prefer to power my routers from the DC, so I do not get any interruptions when switching from pedestal power, to inverter, to generator and back. These cables are well made, and work perfectly, I highly recommend if you plan to run off DC.

    Insider Internet Bundle

This bundle works great in our motorhome. We are using the T-Mobile sim card. I decided to try the Parsec Akita lite cellular antenna primarily for the ease of installation and we had a compartment in the motorhome which fit the antenna perfectly which wasn't really useful for anything else anyway.

We just completed a trip to the Northeast/New England area of the US. In northern Maine (Baxter State Park) area. As remote as that area is, we were still able to stream but encountered some amount of buffering. That was easily remedied by shutting down internet surfing on other devices. That may not have been necessary with an outdoor roof mounted antenna?

Travelling around Vermont and upstate New York, the story was similar but to a lesser degree. All other places we have travelled so far have been 4 and 5 bar reception. This is the best upgrade we have made to the motorhome.

    2 is better than 1

I struggled to decide between the transit and the BR one pro 5G. Ultimately I went with the transit because of the faster processor and dual 4G giving me to cellular connections close my Starlink for ultimate redundancy. It has been great and down the road I plan on adding 5G to the set up with an ethernet cable using synergy mode.
