Released in October 2017, this hotspot currently supports Sprint's LTE Plus carrier aggregation features.

Unlike its predecessor the R850, this hotspot does support 3G fallback.

In addition, the device is also capable on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi frequencies.
