i3 Mobile is owned by Fatalistik, LLC, who also owns another AT&T MVNO called Kasa Mobile. Under i3 Group they initially offered unlimited high speed data plans - but those were quickly eliminated under the new ownership.
In March 2020, they re-introduced an 'unlimited plan', however the data slows to 3Mbps after 22GB, and to 128k after 50GB.
i3 Mobile offers a limited number of phones for sale as well as the Netgear Nighthawk hotspot. You can also bring your own device. Any device that is compatible with the AT&T network should work on i3 Mobile, as should unlocked T-Mobile phones. If you have a question about whether or not your current phone will work on their network, they have a device Compatibility Checker on their site.
All of their phone plans offer unlimited talk and text in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, as well as to/from Mexico and Canada.
Also, it is noted that i3 will terminate service if a data device (i.e. a hotspot) is activated on a phone plan. Data devices must be activated on data plans only.
